What more can you say to such a powerful concert like this one is, but simply incredible. Right from the start of the powerful Blackmore made riffs of Burn, Whitesnake delivers an outstanding performance. The version of the Burn, played by Whitesnake on this DVD, is arguably the best ever live recording of the song (I dare to say that it is even better than the original version from “Made in Europe” record played by Deep Purple). It is a dream opening of the concert. This concert is compromized of the Whitesnake’s greatest hits (the only songs missing that should have been part of this concert are “Slide it In” and “Slow and Easy”). My personal highlights, besides “Burn”, are “Ready and Willing”, “Don’t Break my Heart”, the encore – “Take me With You” – “Still of the Night” and “Ain’t no Love in the Heart of the City” which takes us on a trip back in time to the “Live – In the Heart of the City” recording, since it is very similar to the 80s version. The band is tight throughout the performance and arguably, it is the best Whitesnake line-up ever. I do not want to get into the argue, but I strongly disagree with the previous reviewer, who is giving this concert such a low rating and has a problem with the audiance (fans) being so involved in the concert. The fact the audience is so involved gives this concert special beauty. This is Coverdale at his best. No other singer interacts with the audience the way David does, making them a part of the concert. Believe me – this DVD is a must have, not only for Whitesnake fans, but for every fan of the good rock music. Comes with a CD too.
